The season is officially upon us, so it’s time to do what we love to do, which is get the fans in the action early and often.

This week’s victim/guest is Shawn King, Executive Producer and Host of Your Bike Life. We sent Shawn some questions and he was gracious enough to give us his thoughts and impressions of the upcoming race and season. We’ll have a new fan every Friday so be sure to check back every week. There’s no such thing as a right or wrong answer so relax and enjoy!

The global market is dropping faster than King Kenny McRoberts Jr. pushed out of the International Space Station with a parachute made of Harley Davidson Fat Boys. Businesses across the globe are cutting back worker's hours, from Japan (where they are now limited to a 175 hour workweek) to Spain (where the max is now 3 hours per month).

Things have gotten so bad that Jorge Lorenzo has traded in his golden nugget for a silver one, and Biaggi can no longer afford prescription hair treatment aids and has resorted to gluing Giovanni Bussei's beard trimmings to his ever expanding scalp.

Nicky Hayden, the 2006 MotoGP world champ, had his American coming-out party on January 23 at a SoCal Ducati dealership.

Motorcycle.com had a chance to sit down with him and ask him about the upcoming season riding the Desmosedici GP9 for Ducati instead of his longtime employer, Honda.
